From: Georgia on my mind...

It helps insulate the connection between the coil and plug from moisture.

Whoever said it gives more horsepower is an idiot.

More Power!!! I wish lol . Say your powerwashing the crud out from under your wheelwells - you accidently get the side of motor wet and your COP's - y could be F'ed.

Driving during a hard rain, you can very easily compromise your COP's, Big puddles ect..

Since there already installed I would atleast shove some dielectric in the gap between the boot and cylinder head and coat the connectors.

Dielectric grease, contrary to popular belief, isn't a conductor but an insulator, nevertheless, it coats and protects electrical contacts - all electrical contacts....you will see it suggested or even receive a tube of dielectric grease with many replacement electronic parts.

I put it on outdoor extension cords, trailer electric connections, and anywhere else electrical contacts are likely to encounter adverse conditions.
