Im gettin 15 in the city so far, BUT given the fact that its a 5200lb truck, I cant complain. I traded in an 05 GTO for it cause I couldnt stop speeding and getting tickets, it only got (my fault) 16/17 in the city. But then again it had 400hp and could go 165mph

Yes they can, I loved that car, but it was going to get me killed. Why Ford cant come up with something to match that is beyond me.

I get that towing my #5000 travel trailer on the HWY..... Even less in city....

Empty, I average around 15 mpg going to work and back. Most of it is hwy, but most of the time, it's stop and go on the hwy because of the traffic.. Takes me an hour sometimes to go 18 freaking miles!!! I HATE WORK!!!!

The only 4.6L that matches (and beats) an LS engine is the 03-04 Cobra. 300hp cannot keep up with 400hp unless there is a significant weight difference. Which between the Mustang and the GTO is 250lbs. Ive always been a Ford guy, but there wasnt a stock Ford around that could touch that LS2,especially on top end. The Mach 1s could make it a real close race, but they would lose it on the top end, I know cause I had one of those too.

Tire change?

Tire type will impact your fuel miliage. Did you swap your stock all terrain tires for a tire that has a more aggressive tread pattern for off road use. Run higher air pressure than in the owners manual or door sticker. More weight = more pressure. This will affect ride and wear. Judge for yourself. I run 35-38 psi in the front and 28-32 in the rear. Lariat 4x4 screw. Keep engine RPM's below 2k for two tanks of fuel and see what you get for miliage. Granny drivin sux, but I regularly get 16.9-17.5 mpg mixed driving. Pay for the fuel or keep you foot out of it.
