From my experience, and some of the stuff I have read on here, the Accel ignition components for these trucks are JUNK!
When it comes to ignition, its damn hard to beat the Motorcraft stuff. And thats coming from someone who hates stock

Several months ago I replaced all my coils on my 2003 5.4L F150 with Accel COPs. Things worked fine for about 3 days and then I got a P0305 code and the engine started missing. I took the truck to the dealer and he put a test coil in there and let me keep it until I was sure the Accel coil was the problem. Truck ran fine so I exchanged the Accel coil for a new one. That was about 6 months ago. Last week I went back to the dealer and had him take out his coil and put my new Accel coil in. I didn't even drive 5 miles and the truck started missing again. Yesterday I ordered a Motorcraft OEM coil from tascafordparts.com at 50% less than retail. It came today on UPS. This time I took out the Accel coil and put the Motorcraft in myself - it was the #5 cylinder which is in the front so it's pretty simple to do. And the truck runs fine. So for me, I'll stick with Motorcraft - especially at 50% off!
