If you covered all the bases then maybe 1 1/2 hours.

Perfect example why I don't go to the dealership to have anything done.

Hate to say it, but that is with puttin di-electric grease around the tops of the coils, and blowing each plug hole out before removing the plug, nuthin half assed about my work either. Maybe if you had a experiance at a better "dealer" you wouldnt bash em so badley.... When you get paid commision only, you find the fastest, most efficiant way to get the job done right the first time...

But i'm just a master tech, i am probably wrong.......

They're not that hard after doing a few sets. Disconnecting the injectors and unclipping the harness from the valve cover makes it easier to get to the coils and the bolts on the passenger's side. Bungie cord all that junk outta the way and you're home free.

I look forward to 5.4 liter tune ups, they're a walk in the park; you haven't lived until you've done a V10 Econoline that just came in hot off the road.

Master tech ? You can't even read. I didn't say the tops of the boots re-read my post . I said taking the boot off of the COP and greasing the inside. So what your saying is you only do the tops - Yeah , gotcha .

I'm not saying there all bad , you just never know.

If you put a bead around the tops of the boots, you dont have to worry about water intrusion, and last i checked, most types of grease are insulators of electricity, so lube em up!!!

I have aslo found that in this world, there are people who can actually do a job like mine, and make a living at it, and there are those who "talk" about being able to do it.... Obviously "talk" is cheap around here.....

I just had mine done a couple of months ago at the dealership on my 5.4 and it ran me around $125 out the door...... but then it was back in the next day for a COP

As said before, the plugs are on top of the intake manifold along side of the injectors. Good luck.
