mustang 4.6 vs f150 4.6

The reason I am asking is because I am interested in a set of Under Drive Pulleys for a 4.6 mustang for my 00 5.4 and was wondering why the belt size for the mustang is 96 inches and the f150 99 inches. Or better yet are the pulleys the same. I don't want to spend over 200 on a set of under drive pulleys when they aren't worth half that. Thank You

the 4.6 in the car is a 6 rib most of the 5.4's are 8 rib along with the trucks. UD pulleys are useless anyways

I wouldn't bother. Use that 200 bucks and put it towards a new exhaust or tuner. You willl see minimal gains and 200 bucks it abit steep IMHO. You might be opening a can of worms if you try installing these on your truck.

The belt routing on the truck differs from the Mustang.

I already have exhaust and tuner (on 11 weeks on my troyer tunes). If you have installed UDP's on another vehicle you would know that they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. and I just checked my belt and it is an 8 ribbon. o well
