There are all these different types of sensors too, how do you clean these and where are they located.
I havn't found out how to do this so, for myself and others... im asking.
Thanks guys.

I highly recomend getting a manual to check everything out. most of the things i; ve seen posted here is bS anyway. I'm new here but have read the forurm quite a bit. Be carefull what advice you follow there are people here that are legends in their own mind. Just be sure to invest in a book.
Look forward to hereing from you

Here's a better answer to your question - Buy a Haynes or Chilton's manual for your year and model. Any good Automotive supplier will carry one .
When you ask a question - specify your year , specially when referring to the straight six. Some models didn't have sensors.
You can check around the other sites on the web , but you WILL NOT find a better one when you run into problems - Sure guys mess around with other here, I believe this has more techs on the list than any other out there. More diagrams , photo's and helpful people.
I would suggest if one doesn't like the site - move on...Apparently you don't know a good thing when you see it. No ones forcing you to be here.
keith , I didn't see your reply before I started mine

Buy the chilton/haynes manual AND try to find a mentor who has experience with cars/trucks. Try to read the whole 'general maintenace' section (or whatever it is called).
I'd start with the basics: plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor, air filters, change oil/filter, and check all the basic fluids (add as needed).
I'm no 'mechanic', but you can learn a lot in this forum. Explore the different folders, and do searches on the part/topic you are thinking of working on. Tons of good info, diagrams and posts.
Your post/question is pretty broad and could potentially cover lots of ground/info. I'd start with doing the above, then post up a new question/thread that is a bit more specific after you've gleaned some more info from the forums.
