They did a big thing about those on Mythbusters, including those "popular" fuel line magnet things. All of the devices either had no effect, and most decreased mileage and power.

Wait....it never showed the fat guy hooking the intake back to the airbox

I saw that one on the discovery channel..... You would think that after something was on national TV that it would stop being so popular.... But if you build it stupid people will buy it.... Im a firm beliver in this.

I think i might invent some blocks that you tape to the back of your gas pedal. Ill sell them for $50 a pair. I will tell people you get an increase in MPG's by 23%. Betcha I become a rich man over night.... MUUUUUHAHAHAHAHAH

My evil plan to take over the world is now in work.....

All i want to see now is

If anything, these devices will cause the computer to read lean and have the injection system feed more fuel in the charge resulting in less mileage and poor performance. If you need more fuel mileage, change your driving habits. Learn to coast to a stop, don't be the first away from a light and keep the tachometer below 2000 rpms when gaining speed. Be more fluid in your action on the gas, do things in moderation when stopping or starting.
