Yes they do, it's the old school style, the ones that stick thru the hood and have carbs on top. Here is a link http://www.blowerdriveservice.com/pr...oc=101&dealer=

the Dana 28 in the front will explode the first time 400+ hp is unleashed, trust me those u-joints cant handle the 140hp that the 2.9's had. long tube headers wont work either, wont be able to turn very well. a mildy built 5.0 makes those trucks wicked fast, not to mention a HANDLEFUL to drive. had a s-10 with a 355 roller cam, SWEET JESUS, couldnt imagine having a big block. better kind yourself a Dana 35 for the front, skip the headers---keep the stock manifolds, and that rear end aint gonna handle it either. better have deeps pockets for this one, otherwise your gonna be fixing it more than your driving it. beat a corvette

so a mildy built 7.5 should make this ranger alot faster? haha the only thing ranger about this truck is pretty much the body. im gonna get the axles out of a super duty. Should be a fun summer!

Theres a harbor freight about 10 miles from me ive got some tools from there before. i have a friend who has an engine stand we used it to rebuild his 350 outta his El camino.

ok so after this weekend i will have a car port and an engine stand i can start tearing into this project. This ranger will be 2 wheel drive so i dont have to worry about the transfer case or the front axle. Anyone have any parts that they think i should get? What cam, What carb. Anything you think that would be a lil on the cheaper side but i would see very good gains from. i plan on doing the Cam intake and carb, Long tubes?? how would i make them fit..angles and all that fun stuff? Any advice i will take...anyone who calls this impossible i will take too. Oh and i know this is very very very far off...What tires to make this thing grab insted of just spinning the tires... im having my grad party this weekend so im hoping to have a lil money to play with for this 460 project. Thanks again guys.

Well guys i know its been a while but in abour 3-4 weeks i should have a 1988 F-150 for 100 bucks http://detroit.craigslist.org/pts/825410652.html now i just need another 460 with a 2wd trans but there all over for about 200-300 bucks. im still tryin to find a car port that will fit over there other wise the truck is open to all the great michigan snow i cant wait to get this truck and get this finaly going. i wish it was a ranger but hey ford never put a 460 in a F-150. and i like this body style of Ford truck. Think the 460 will fit in there without much moding? *Theres no replacement for Displacement" http://detroit.craigslist.org/pts/836329257.html and i also found just a 460 for 100 bucks he says its been sitting for 9 years thoe....no matter witch 460 i get im deff going to strip it down and its gonn get all new gaskets cam, intake, carb, and some longtubes...Maybe even upright headers *make my life easyer not trying to pipe 3" piping under the truck *

running the pipes is the least of your worries look up a price on headers for a 460 in that truck if i recal my buddy paid 550 for shorties when we dropped a 514 stroker in his 89 f150

i found some upright long tubes that cost 128 bucks. i think it was jegs or summit. holy crap whyd he spend so much were they stainless or somthing? and i think that truck i posted on here is gone it says the ad has been removed so i need to find another ranger or F-150 jut frame and body. i was thinking leave the bed off and put some sheet metal down on the back because this is just gonna be a drag truck.

ok so they either went up in price or i was dreaming lol http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...4506.m20.l1116

There a lil over 300 bucks but i think theyd be fun also i was wondering would a turbo from a 7.3L work on a 460? i dont htink the exhuast manifolds would bolt up the same but i was thinking about getting block huggers and put the turbo there it ends then running the rest of the pipe on the hood. what you guys think?
