Waterman308, the moly used in RP is not the same as the moly used in grease. Grease moly is Moly Disulphide and is black in color. The moly used in RP is Moly Trialkyldithocarbamate which is a clear liquid. Don't attempt to read anything into any advertized dyno tests regardless of product. Dynos can be massaged to get the results you want and are not necessarily true. Even making zero changes to an engine I can get a 5% differential. FWIW, the blends such as the Motorcraft will turn in lower wear metals. If you like moly, Havoline, just plain ol' Havoline, has almost twice the moly of RP and Redline has over ten times the moly. Unless you have oil analysis to back personal claims, usually RP gives nothing remarkable in results. The wear metals are average and life is average. Good oil, just not worth the price for the value received.

My 98 F-150 and my 99 Mustang GT call for 5w30. As mentioned, they did switch to 5w20 around 01 for better mileage.
I use 5w20 in the winter and 5w30 in the summer.

Why? They are both 5 at cold temp.
If you are concerned with cold starts go to 0w30.

DITTO, BIG TIME!!! The motorcraft is so affordable and readily available at any walmart! I wouldn't use anything else! Especially with the dang gas prices getting so high, why spend extra money? The service intervals are still 5k which is way past the ol' 3k rule of thumb.
