5.0 Engine Clang

I just picked up a 96 f150 with a 5.0 (134k miles), and it makes a clang coming from the underside of the engine (doesn't really sound like a valve tap either). It happens during idle up until a certain point in the high rpms, then once it gets high enough it doesn't happen (possibly because theres enough oil to keep it in place at that point). I was wondering if this engine has any commonly known issues that this clang would be? Thanks guys

nope no issues.

You sure its coming from the engine?

Broken motor mount causing the engine to flex?
Fan hitting the shround?

Fram oil filter or other crappy ones will you a start up tick because the don't hold oil.
