Spark Plug Change issues after please help

If I had an 03 and wanted to know/ short of removing the heads lol - I would look @ the build date inside the drivers door. That will at least tell you if you have an early or late model for that year. I've learned recently that revisions are made right after the middle of the year. So, an 03 model w/a build date after 6/03 would stand a good chance of having the updated heads. A freakin casting number would be better tho, wish I new it.
Hey wait a minute, wouldn't they have already been making the 04's in June/03? The new vehicles start to show up here in September. Maybe you did mean 6/02. My fingers are crossed.

Nah , like my 98's build date was in 98, it's considered "late". Here's the tag -
So I imagine a late 03 would be tagged in the same way - 6/03 or later. That doesn't necessarily mean you didn't get the updated heads if you have an 03 model. I'm not sure when the update took place exactly. It was in 03 at some point.

IMO -Some run into problems when they have one of those third party shops do it, or who-ever, that doesn't know any better and reefs the plugs down w/a half inch breaker bar and a 5' section of steel pipe
That's when one can run into troubles..

does anyone have any pictures of how to grease up these coils the correct way. I dont really want or have the 75 bucks for all new coils. my truck runs fine it just has a slight miss every so often i know its something i did becasue it did not do it before the new plugs.
Just make sure you get the inside of the boots - Spark jumps around in there so much, you can see carbon trails in a dry boot if you look for it. - $75 is nothing compared to what you metioned earlier - "Taking it to the dealer" - Remember? Hell, that would have run you more than double and you wouldn't have had all new coils. That's why I suggested you get new set. To save on dealer costs and come out of this whole thing w/ new coils to boot
Trying to help yuh man..

I think you should take jbrews advise and get a new set of COP's but that is your decision. I would check all your plugs while you have the COP's off again and make sure that you did not slop anti-seize on them. Changing your plugs is not a hard job but it is time consuming and this is your second shot at it so if I were you I would not want to do it for a 3rd.
