Hi,

I have a 5.4L Expy 4X4 XLT with 115000 miles on it. There appears to be an oil leak coming from the oil filter adapter. At first, I thought it was the oil pressure sending unit and replace it. The leak improved but is still present.
I have looked closely at the head both from under the truck and from the top and do not believe that is the problem. So far the leak is small about 2 quarts every 6000 miles.

According to the manual, to change the o rings in the oil filter adapter I should pull the motor mount on the side. Do I really have to do that? Also,
has anyone else had this problem with the oil filter adapter leaking? The truck
runs great otherwise and has been the best car or truck I have owned.
