4X4 & Low range light keeping poping on

Hey guys i have a 1997 F150 SUPERCAB 4.6 engine with 179,000 miles on it. she runs and looks brand new. i went down to go pick up my truck after the windshield got tinted and i was drivng down the freeway and my 4 wheel drive light came on and the low range light came on to. that freaked me out and it did not feel like 4 wheel was engaged but it made my transmission shift funny while accelerating. and another weird thingi noticed is that my driver window wont roll down unless its in park or in netral. I guess i dont know what the hell it is or even kno where to start looking!?! Does anyone have any idea what it could be?? please help me!!

Did the installer use excessive amounts of water on the windshield causing it to drip down on the GEM. The GEM controls both the windows and the 4x4 indicator light. Check for water intrusion at the GEM from the windshield leaking. It is on the back side of the fuse panel in the cab. When 4Lo is selected the PCM gets a signal from the GEM and changes the shift strategy. Again A GEM fault.

The GEM is attached to the fuse panel inside the cab. If you go hunting be sure to unplug the Battery. The GEM is sensitive to stray electrical currents, Static Electricity etc.
