if you have the starter(new one) use a deep socket for the one up top and in back with a 3/4 inch drive that bends at the head and a couple extensions and a 90 degree swivel adapter thing in between the extensions. you should be able to weasel your way in there, thats what she said. you wont be able to turn it much. you can do it from the ground but i went from inside the fender well. once its out and if you shake the starter and it starts clunking, you know its bad. it could be just a dead spot in the starter, have you, i know this sounds red neck, but tap it with a hammer? it has worked before...
