hey dallas63 what year is your truck? if its from year range 87-97 then you should have a starter solenoid on the passenger fender of your truck behind your battery. alot of times when they get over heated they will get screwed up inside and it will sometimes even crank with the key taken out of the ignition.
otherwise i'd say get a chiltons manual. they give you wire diagrams and diagnosing tips and pictures.

What do you mean "WRONG" ??? I gave you the illustrations - pic and illustrations .. I'm even the guy who told you to check fuse #32.
That's Just Freakin Ungrateful !
I would say I was more "RIGHT" than "WRONG" - You never once said you tried those things that others and I suggested starting out , you chose to what looked like -ignore and ask more questions or start a new thread which is now making this confusing to everybody. You have guys giving up there time to help you with this, typing out long explanations of what to do and it's already been covered in another thread you started. WTF - Who's really wrong here??
Before you say someone is wrong , I suggest you re-evaluate the info given and respond to the questions. How many times did JMC basically ask you the same question ? You didn't offer explanation, just more questions and NEW threads were started
jbrew wrong ? My a$$!! I've been wrong before - To you , my info SHOULD have benefited, if you listen and give people enough respect to reply to questions ask .

you be careful what you say dallas63. The only one that needs a starter shoved up his a** is you. I don't care if you live in MmmBuckles backyard, there's alot more of us than you, and we don't like loud mouths like you threating our people. Maybe you should just leave this board all together, because clearly if your attitude is a reflection of your knowledge of automobiles I wouldn't trust you taking off the battery cables from the terminals on my battery.

x2! yeah you do need to grow up. this is almost as bad as the argument with the fordinator guy i believe it was. of course jbrew was involved with that one too. but jbrew is one of the most helpful people on this site when he gives tips and doesnt fool around. but at least he's honest about most things.
