Engines and mileage?

E-fans, CAI, Longtube headers+exhuast and a tunner/programmer will give you better gas mileage. If i had to start modding again i would do E-fans frist then CAI then longtube headers. my gas mileage went up from 10MPG *stock* to 17-18 city *fully moded with all my mods* Look around on here theres lots of Info on all those mods to help your 4.6L out. You dont have to buy the pricer E-fan Kits you can go to your local junkyard and pick out a set of E-fans at my junkyard they were 30 bucks for any set up. Or go to Autozone they have E-fan kits you make your self. Good luck hope you like your truck 
Which long tube headers did you use. I'm guessing that you also have a true dual exhaust now with a real crossover or "X". Did you make a shroud for your fans or did they come with something? And how did you mount them? Thats a remarkable improvement. I was liking the fans for warming the truck up faster vs the elimintion of the acceleration parasite. But that is nice also. How much would you estimate those mods set you back. $2k and 25 hrs? Nice...
