Fay Flood Ford?

I am in central Florida. Fay dumped all over us for the past few days. On my way home last night, many streets were flooded. Although I smugly drove by the Smart Car that had stalled out in the middle of a flooded road, this morning I was annoyed to feel a bit of a rough idle in my engine. I am not sure what I am feeling... a plug not firing? something slipping? Idles smooth and then there is a 'gap' and then it goes again. I can feel it during acceleration, too.

Any advice as to what I should be looking for after driving through deep water?

Cell phone pic I snapped on the way home:

blow out the spark plug hole with air and allow to dry.

yep, you probably got some water in there cuz of all that heavy rain, not a big deal tho, if you have a computer or know where you can get one to use for 5 seconds hook it up and see which cylinder is missfiring, then take the plug out and blow the water out with a air hose, thatll do the trick, did for me

Eh, I been meaning to replace the spark plugs anyways. I just keep reading too many horror stories of people who screwed that up.

Man, silly me, to think my big 4x4 could make it through a puddle.

it's all about the approach man. You take anything and dive into some water fast enough to splash it into the engine bay, and your chances of screwin something up increases
