Plug change @95K with 4.6L
I have an 02 4.6L with 95K on it.
I'm looking to change the plugs tomorrow.
Are the 4.6L 2002 models susceptible to breaking in the socket or blowing out?
I wanted to replace with Motorcrafts but werent available where I bought them. Will be going with Platinum Autolites.

motorcraft plugs are the only 100% guarunteed plug to work properly for the modular engines. and as already said use lots of dielectric grease. and just be patient or else something will happen. my friend stripped the threads on his trucks 5.4 even with the heli-coil because he was in a hurry.

Yea, somebody just got confused..
It happens, glc was on that one already. I was yucking it up while I was scrolling down to see who caught that
On the other hand, dielectric will solidify after awhile - It just might throw a Kung-Fu grip on those plugs...? - Well, fir a little while anyway
