October 207 i drove to the Nitto nationals in Bowling Green with my 5.4 97 f150 4wd and got 15.6mpg. only mod since then was the bbk pullies last week. on todays trip, 140 miles round trip, i got 17.88mpg.

No, i originally had a 4.6 in the truck, so i think that counts for a mod. I put an efan on off of a taurus with a thermostatic controller on the low speed side. have never needed the high speed side. i have added my own cold aor intake but it may be getting a little warm air so i need to make up a box for it. msd coils and wires ,comp cams 102500 cams

Oh, yeah, I forgot to add this: If I read on here that someone claimed a 2.2mpg increase from a set of pullies, i would call BULL! BUT, it was my truck and I know the figures. i have no reason to lie about it or exaggerate it. i wish every other mod would do the same but that aint gonna happen.
