TAC = Throttle Actuator Control. That's the electronic "fly by wire" throttle control. Replaces the throttle cable.

So it needs to be replaced? How expensive of a repair for this? J/W as I can do most work myself and would like to do this if I can. I assume this is not covered by the extended powertrain warranty that is standard?

It doesn't necessarily need to be replaced - it needs to be troubleshot. I was simply telling you what the "TAC" was. Check with your dealer on the warranty possibility.

It's telling you that something caused the TAC to go into a "forced idle" mode.

Thanks for all your help. One last question. I have a air raid on the truck, will this void a warranty if it's covered?

The Air Raid might be a contributing cause of this problem. I'd put it back stock.

air raid air induction or tb spacer? either way it shouldnt but its not helping any unless your truck is tuned.

P2104

Have had the air raid on for over 30K with no problems. J/W if I should go back to stock before I take it to the dealer?

take it to your nearest dealer, there was a tsb for a reflash on pcm, also a common concern was harness chafing on intake stud.
