the black tubing that runs across the top of the block, in between the heads, under the intake manifold. It runs right behind the top passanger bellhousing thread

i had mine in place during install, just loose though.

That is the water heater tube. There are two studs on the passenger side head that this tube bolts to. When they are tight the tube should be clear of the bellhousing bolt holes.

i only had issues with the stud clearing the firewall, so i left it loose.
