i hate those kinds of situations. a freakin $3 radiator cap went bad on my 79 bronco mud truck and it caused the whole radiator to blow up.

I do them in less that an hour now unless it has a full console. First one was ~2hr

So you can pull the dash out of the truck, replace the heater core and install the dash in one hour. I am impressed.

I live north of Dallas and have one on a 99 f150 today to do. I get $300 labor.
