Nope! We have the same motor..Damn good motor tho!!! You fire yours up yet. Damn! - built54 had his built running in as much time

jbrew that motor is the 2002 im putting in my 99, which will be this coming saturday! I was just showing him what the PI is all about. It would be nice to see that motor in his expy tho !

Make sure you pull all those COP's off and take them apart before you install the motor. Take all that electrical tape off the harness where it's wrapped solid. Your suppose to tape in one spot two time around, then go to the next. Tapping solid collects water/moisture and can eventually leave you scratching your head

Worst thing you can do to these COP'ed engines is power wash them. It's not like it use to be, where you could get away with it. The chambers need to be blown out as well.

I worked on one that was washed like that. Don't put ANY juice to until you dry the sh^t out of it.. Not kidding.. If you don't have a compressor , your screwed.

I had a 99 with the 260 horse 5.4, it was manufactured 12/21/98.

The Model year production run of Ford vehicles starts in August of the previous year. You could have ordered a 99 in August of 98 and have it arrive in September 98 at the dealer. My 2000 f-150 was delivered to me in October of 99.

Naw I havent fired up yet J.... I have been doing mad side work. I am about 3 steps close to firing though... Just laid the harness last night
