loss of oil pressure

i have a ford f150... the oil pressure is fine when i first start it but after it warms up and i stop it loses oil pressure and wants to die. there is no knocking or ticking so i do not think it is the main bearings. any suggestions?

probably the dropped oil pressure is from the low rpm during the time when the engine is trying to die.
