I've used Lucas fluids. Tranny, Transfer Case, Differentials, et cetera. They work just fine. I have yet to have a problem. I've added the upper cylinder lubricant to gas and it is good also. Mobil 1, Royal Purple, & Red Line are both good too. Others recommend Amsoil but I've never tried it.

I use LUCAS products as well. I have no complaints about it. I add the oil treatment every other oil change in my 98.

+ 1 on that!

I've seen studies where they add that crap to the motor oil and the oil got aerated and foamy..And that is not good for your engine!!

After seeing that,,,I would never put any Lucas product in one of my vehicles.

Use of a quality oil eliminates the need for more additives.

No one ever has problems right away, its later on down the road that the problems will show up. If you do regular maintenance and use a quality oil, you dont need stuff like that in your engine or transmisison.

Lucas Oils is a quality product. I'm running it in my Explorer's transmission, transfer case, and differentials.

Here's independent testing as performed by a lube tribologist at BITOG:

Still think this crap is doing no harm?
