PATS issue

I have an issue with the engine not starting that I think is tied to the PATS system. Starter will crank with no troubles. Starter is turning the engine, so I believe all is good with the starter, solenoid, and relay. I don't think I hear the fuel pump, but am not sure. It does sound like something electrical is winding up quick, but I do not hear a steady hum. Should the hum stay on, or is it just present for a second or two? I don't get any fuel from the schreader valve, but I have never been able to get fuel from there even when the engine was running.

A couple times, if I was stubborn enough it would eventually start. This has happened a couple times. Today I couldn't get it to start for anything.

I am getting a code from the theft light. Fast blinking for 30 seconds and then I get one : one. Found something that says this means the transceiver is not connected. Is this the module that rings around the ignition key slot?

I also have a remote start to really muddy things up. Before spending the day tomorrow removing all that crap (after the painful learning experience it was installing that - I really don't want to go there), I'm hoping someone has come across this one : one fault code before.

Thanks,
Steve

The first thing to do to properly diagnose the no start is to eliminate any aftermarket installations that can effect the system. Check your remote start for burnt fuses chaffed wires. All emote starts have a disabling capacity in case someone jumps in and tries to make off with the vehicle. Check that part of the system. Contact your installer and ask for trouble shooting help. Failing that you will need to remove it prior to properly diagnosing the Ford system.
