Stop right there, your set. Don't get the TB. Get some heads or have them worked over, then add more bolt ons to enhance. - You'll need to tune..

You'll need bigger injectors for more fuel. What goes with more fuel ? More air - Now add a bigger TB (NA) - She'll eat it up.

Or just supercharge.

Two high flow cats are enough. You don't need four of them.

so the shortys vs longtubes if you have lets say a cold air intake and E-fans wouldnt the numbers be better for longtubes then? you have more air coming in you need a better way to get rid of it....

Hey Jbrew is it really worth 200 and some odd dollars to get that 75MM TB? ive been debating it for a while it "Claims" 10-15 more hp and i would make my Elbow bigger too. or should i just save up another 200 and go get dyno tuned by livernois?

Just to clear some things up. I Had high flow cats with manifolds. Put the shorties on, gained no hp or tq anywhere. put the long tubes on and gained 30hp/35ftlbs. These gains were not with my current engine.

I think that was clear with 99% of us but evidently not with 1%

When you say just 2 cats, you mean instead of running four, just run 2 high flow cats. I was getting the inpression that they were recomending putting on two high flow cats and keep two of the stock ones.
Sorry for be an amateur. But I am the first to admit it.

I am running only 2 cats. The precats, first ones in line, are gone. I still pass emissions with the remaining factory cats.

why?? the mustang 4.6 has a different power band than the truck 4.6 due to the tune and intake manifold differences

I don't know as I didn't dyno before and after. I removed them to fit my headers.

do not wrap them you will destroy them faster the heat has no place to go because the wrap is there keeping the heat in and in less then 6 months nothing will be holding your headers togther excpet for the header wrap Jbrew gave me a site that explained it. i just got home high temp header paint workd ok but michigan winters are brutal on stuff with all the salt and snow
