5.0 Liter, and a goal of 400 hp and 400 ft lbs!
You might also be seeing a newer version of the 6.2 with a lower deck height. As proposed, it would be in the same size as the current 5.4 at around 330 cu in. Until they fully develop this engine, I expect to see the 5.0 and the 6.2 as the engines available for the F150 with different power outputs as options.

I wouldn't run out and press yer dress for graduation on that news. You'll likely never see it at those numbers in an F150. Mustang....maybe, F150, no. Expect the realistic numbers for the F150 to be more in line with 250hp max and maybe 280lb torque. Ford already has the larger engine covered and this will be the replacement for the 4.6. Not the replacement for all Tritons. I'm looking forward to it though. The 4.6 has been a wonderful and extremely reliable platform. But considering it's physical size, it's not very practical. The 5.4 has never been a good engine and Ford saw that early in it's life. While we all have our favorites, it's time for the 5.4 and all of the issues with it to go away. I expect the 5.4 to be remembered like the 6.0 diesel. If you got a good one you were blessed. But the luck of the draw was lousy for far too many folks.
