Fuel Filter

Hey guys, im going to change my fuel filter, the fords I have done in the past just needed a pair of needle nose pliers. My 99 4.6L 2WD do i need a special tool to remove the hoses, or are pliers good enough?

Thanks Valley, that link will come in handy. Ive done a couple of fuel filters before, not on this truck though. going by the link, i guess i need to buy the tool then?

I just wanted to know if i could get by without he tool?

nope, your going to need the tool, it's pretty inexpensive anyways.

Thanks guys, picked it up . $16.00 here in Ontario, Canada. i think you guys get it for like $6.00 in the US
