My 07 huffs a big ol' puff of blue smoke every morning when I start it up. Never does it all day after. Its a 5.4 with 50k miles. serviced regularly with motocraft 5w 20 synthetic blend. It's a work truck I bought brand new and I have never been satisfied with it. Its rated at around 300 hp right? The laziest 300 I ever saw. No mods except a K&N drop in. Any guesses what is wrong?

Its a 07 screw 4x4 5.4

 

whats the oil level? the truck is rated for 300 hp and it does have it but the stock tune sucks. if you want it to be faster then get yourself a tuner for it and it'll wake the hell up.

 

x2 man my grandad had the girliest power ive ever seen out of a 3/4 ton, hes got a 2006 5.4 and i FINALLY convinced him to get a programmer and shes a beast now
