Why wouldn't they fit ? Is the cab in the way on the 04 +? I haven't heard.

They fit the pre 04, that was a farse that they didn't. You probably know this Jer.

Anyways, pre 04, you could order 5four Pacesetter LT's for the 4six and they still fit without doing anything special. You could even order 5four 4X4 headers from Pacesetter and they still WOULD FIT a 2wd 4.6L , - I KNOW that was done, at- least once for sure lol. - No block lifting required, - just heat shield modification and a set of new Bosch O2's w/correct harness, they have them now, - up to a 14" harness @ Oriely's/Murrays AND at a good price (best way to go since those sensors are so sensitive and that your tuned/dialed in AF's rely totally on their stability + function.)

But yea, haven't heard about the 04+ models yet and what the problems are.

IF you get the green light on the PS LT's , you can get them under just under $300 (un-coated), but they have to be tuned in to achieve 100% of benefit. That's the only way to unleash those extra ponies. If you don't , yea you'll gain only a little of what this mod offers and run her lean to boot. - Just somethin to keep in mind.

DO NOT us e a oiled filter element such as K&N. It's to easy to mist the MAF. It's difficult at times to notice the performance loss unless you have a Dyno accessible at will, but this has been proven in the past. You can run the K & N system if you choose, but run it w/a GOOD DRY element.

BTW- With an Air Hammer and Battering Ram attachment, you can customize the 2004 + cab if it won't cooperate and move the "F" out of the way for yuh, politely. - It's an option and a very versatile tool to have in the arsenal

An infraction ??? Did I miss something...? Dangit - What did you do ?

No problem on the 04 eh , -that's cool. Do you know if the Pace Setter LT set for the 04 differs from the pre 04 models? I mean , they were tight to begin with on the 97-03 models. The cab is larger on the 04, but I'm not sure if it's been pushed forward. That's the only problem I can see, but yea - The firewall COULD still be in the same location in relation to the motor and or, 2 valve manifolds.

Not sure bd ? Well your @ 231 horsepower at 4,750 rpm and 293 foot-pounds of torque at 3,500 rpm. I would guess they stuck with 19's for that one, -tell me what color they are and I can tell you for sure. OR, - Looky here at the chart ~ http://fordfuelinjection.com/?p=38 - Use the color column and see if you can match injector color with FRP's.

I got me one of those once, -I remember the year, day and exact time (08-26-2008 08:55 PM ) for some reason ??

Mine was for = "Inappropriate Sign Language"

That's right! It was a smiley that started off with a friendly wave , -very similar to the one on this site. Well, somehow that smiley was corrupted and it's evil twin showed face, -along with it's pet bird.

Therefore I stood, ~ compromised

You purchase tunes from a tuner, you generally get 3 canned tunes with purchase, but you can list Mods at time of purchase so that the tuner can create a set to match your mods. That's called "custom tunes". You upgraded the hardware/ they program the vehicles computer to adapt.

you've got 19#ers from the factory, if you upgrade then yours are a good upgrade for someone with an older truck

pace setters are cheap

you can run 24# injectors with your stock fuel pump and MAF on a custom tune

sorry to be bringing up a somewhat dead post, but i didnt seem to get a straight answer from reading all the posts.

which headers will fit the 07 4.6 2wd. as far as i understood, 5.4 2wd (same year) will fit my 4.6 correct?? and i understand i need to get a o2 harness and sensor to replace my stock, along with a tune and a few other things like intake. is this correct. i really want headers. and i saw people mentioned the pace setter and kooks, but i didnt see the kooks on the website.

PLEASE HELP
