I have not taken it out yet. What do you think?
A stupid question but, YOU removed the coil on that plug right? Or was it just like that with no coil? Also, Im pretty sure that dielectric grase shouldnt be on top of the plug like that, It only goes around the inside of the cop boot. And that hose looks like the PCV hose and the part that isnt threaded pushes into the passenger side valve cover...

Ok gotchya. No I found it like that. I saw the valve cover was threaded, but the PVC isn't. Is it supposed to be like that?

The hole on top of the valve cover on the passenger side is threaded? The PCV valve on the end of the hose is supposed to just push into that hole...

I could have sworn I saw threads. I'll snap a photo. I was able to push it in the hole but it came right back out.

Alright, are you sure you're plugging the PCV valve into the passenger side valve cover? It doesn't go into that hole with the spark plug in it.

Right, I understand that. Those holes are meant for the COPS. Here's a photo of what I was talking about:

I don't see them going at an angle, so maybe it's not threaded. But what's preventing that from simply popping out?

Yes, thats the PCV valve hole...It should just push right into there without popping out. If it keeps popping out, it might be routed wrong with something going underneath it causing it to pop back out when you put it in...

Is there supposed to be any rubber or a fitting that goes in there? I'll snap some more photos tomorrow after FD.

The PCV valve itself pushes into that hole. Its the little piece on the end of that hose with the foam around it. It clinks when you shake it up and down....

I dont need anymore photos, i got ya. Here is the piece that just pushes down into that hole, the PCV valve. I circled in red the part that goes down into the hole. The other ribbed part on it is where it connects to that hose with the foam around it.

Well I think it's fixed. I replaced the bad COPS with new ones and plugged back in the PCV valve. I didn't see any rubber around where you plug it into the cover. It was just metal on metal.

It ran like crap for about 20 seconds, motor shaking, etc. I tapped the gas lightly and it started to even out, ran for about a minute and no CEL, no shaking. So far so good. I'm iced into the garage about 5 inches outside the door, so I can't get it over that hump, but I'm excited about a road test to see if the truck runs great again. I will post with updated and thank you all for your help!
