does anyone know if a 302 will bolt up to our 5 speed transmissions? Ive got the coolant leak on the 4.2, and havnt driven the truck since i noticed the coolant loss. Ford wont buck up and help me out. Im not paying 3000 for a v6 when i can get a 285 horse 302 for 1500. Its all day dreaming right now, its either fix the gasket my self, get rid of truck, or swap motors. I tell ya this thing with ford has put a bad taste in my mouth.
