The better injector cleaners are either stoddard solvent based or a POE. BG 44 has both in the mix but is not near as concentrated as it once was. Gumout with REGANE, REGANE being a POE, is about the best for the least amount of money. Techron is stoddard solvent based. Most of the cleaners on the shelf or either an alcohol of some kind or a naptha of some kind. Both are great solvents when used as a solvent but it doesn't do much as a system cleaner. Ethanol, for instance, is a tremendous solvent but it creates as many issues or more than it fixes.

Its the only stuff i use autozone has them 10$ for 2 alot of times.
I'm not saying Techron is the ONLY good cleaner, I'm only saying it is SO GOOD, why use anything else. I have literally seen it clean injectors sticking so bad that the vehicle ran horrible, and ONE trip around the block it was running completely smooth. I must say that not ALL the cleaning was done in 1 trip around the block, only that it had UNSTUCK the injectors in that trip. The second thing is that Techron makes 2 different cleaners. One is labeled "Fuel injector cleaner" and the other is labeled "Fuel system cleaner". The more expensive is the Fuel system cleaner and is the concentrated one. That is the one that did the job in a trip around the block.

So true, and if it's the same deal as in So. Cal. (probably is), that's the concentrated Techron, the really super stuff. Actually called "fuel system cleaner".

Chuck Gibson, you need to use fuel injector cleaners every 15000-30000 miles. As the best one I think are Lucas and Chevron but for example here http://injectorcleanermanual.com/ they compare 7 products and by this site in a top are Lucas, Berryman and Sea Foam. You could check some reviews and choose the best one.

2. Techron is the only cleaner approved by Ford.

I thought Gumout with Regane had PEA, polyether-amine in it for the cleaner.

I noticed recently that STP fuel injector cleaner called Complete Fuel System Cleaner says on the label that it has PEA in it.

I use Gumout for high mileage engines in my stuff. It fixed a miss that was causing an overheat alarm on one side of my Yamaha OX66 2 stroke boat motor. And I swear I can tell the difference when I put a bottle in my vehicles about once per year.

Have you try Royal Purple? I totally love it. Although it's a bit more expensive than the other cleaning products, you should try it to see how well it works. Read more about Royal Purple and other brands here.

Any type feedback about those injector cleaner will be appreciated. I read review 4-5 review article like this one https://theeffectiveguide.com/best-f...ector-cleaner/ and shortlisted two brand. One is Techron and other is Lucas. Now, I want to know which brand injector you will suggest me and why that brand?

Lucas Fuel Injection System Cleaner has a single identifier. The ingredient is CAS 64742-54-7 per SDS at Lucas Oil. Here's the direct definition of that:
A complex combination of hydrocarbons obtained by treating a petroleum fraction with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst. It consists of hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C20 through C50 and produces a finished oil of at least 100 SUS at 100.degree.F (19cSt at 40.degree.C). It contains a relatively large proportion of saturated hydrocarbons.

Other than an oil with some solvency, I don't see anything there I'd pay money for. The Stoddard Solvents and a polyetheramine are the best out there. A significant amount of those labelled as having "petroleum distillates" are nothing more than a small bottle of kerosene. Your truck, your money.

Techron was the first cleaner that had PEA. Chevron patented it in 1981.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Techron

Techron consists of five components:

Distillates, hydrotreated light at 40-70% weight
Stoddard solvent at 15-40% weight
Solvent naphtha (petroleum), light aromatic at 5-10% weight
Benzene, 1,2,4-trimethyl at 1-5% weight
PEA (detergent), polyether amines at 20-49% weight
