Talking poweraid spacers results on a 4.2

has anyone installed on a 4.2?
I was wondering if anyone has had results with a spacer on a 4.2

From what I have heard, they don't do anything. Most of what I heard is that it was removed because it didn't do anything.

I installed one of those stupid spacers on my 4.6L and got thothing out of it. Becuase I was so pist off with the results i riped it out the next day and thrugh it in the garbage.

its pretty much junk

if it goes on the triton v-8s it is a waste of money, but on the 4.2 it seems to help just a little bit- maybe 5hp at the upper end of the rpms.For the price it is not a sound performance investment, I do not plan on ever putting one on my truck, there are just too many other good performance producers available (catback exhaust,headers,superchip, fipk, supercharger etc...).I have read what I posted on this site.

Every post i looked at when I was researching that mod indicated that even if it did give you 8 HP as the manufacturer claims, the horrible screeching noise that it makes kind of negates that little gain. Save up another hundred or so bucks and get a chip if you don't have one already.
