well thats good news because i am a pretty small guy and i would assume using a small 3/8ths ratchet and not having the greatest leverage on it that would be pretty hard, but im just glad i got that issue out of the way.

well i took the truck to advanced auto had them put the scanner on it and it said the misfire was on cylinder 7, if i am correct that would be the 3rd cylinder back on the drivers side from the front of the truck, so i looked at it and the plug that clicks on the coil had a green rubber piece that goes right behind where it plugs in at, this was torn so i removed it and the coil and the tab on the coil has been broken off, so i cleaned the coil pack and just to see if it could be an easy fix i taped the plug to the coil pack with electrical tap, and tried it with no avail but the check engine light went away, im guessing replacing the plug and coil will solve the misfire or can i get that little rubber piece from ford?, any input or advice would be great thanks again guys!!

I lost you a bit on the green part and such. I know I bought just the boot and spring that attaches onto the bottom of the actual coil from autozone/o'reilly's for about $8.00. They had the borg warner brand in stock, so I replaced them all for about $50.00. Or if you need the whole COP for the #7 plug, they also carry the MC brand and had a few of those in stock for around $50.00 each (ouch). Let us know how it turns out.

the green part is like a seal on the inside of the plug that plugs onto the coil pack, i think i need a new coil pack though, it doesnt look like the factory coil pack and the neck is cracked a little bit where the plug slips on it, is the autozone brand coil pack ok to use or should i spend the extra $$ and get a motorcraft one? thanks again
