Does anyone know if the 5.4L V-8 is available with a manual transmission? My local dealer says no, but I thought I'd double check.

Dealer is correct unless you go with the superduty.
There are several posts about this in "trasmissions" forum.

 

Not an option for the 5.4L 2000/1999/1998 F-150 models. Your dealer is correct.

The only way to get the 5.4L V8/5 speed manual is to get the F250. And it's standard too Your dealer "should" have mentioned this to you!!
