Question Gas smell with heater on

I have a 93 F-150 XLT 4x2 I just purchased. Great looking and riding truck! But, when I put the heater/defroster on I get a smell of gas. This only occurs when the truck is idling. Has anyone experienced the same problem and what was the fix?

I think what's happening is that you have an exhaust leak somewhere and your air circ. system is sucking it up and blowing it into your cab! At speed the wind blows the fumes away thats why you don't get the smell. I'd get it checked out if I were you!
