No he dosent have those! in 97-2000 they use PACKs with wire on 4.6's

No, not on that one. That didn't happen with the 4six until late 2000.

Yea, those aren't coil packs. They're COP's. Coil on plug.

Oh I appologize I did not think they changed, I've never seen just the two coil pack on the older f150s before. I have the split year 2000 with the COPs

That's alright, I didn't know at one time either. The 5.4L's never had coil packs, THEY always had COP's. The 4.6L had Coil Packs up into 2000. Very few 2000's had Coil Packs. I'm not sure if it's even a split year, it's like Ford used them for a short time, then ran out lol. From then on, both V8's had COP ignitions.

It looks like a coil pack to me so im going to go with that. Thanks for all the help guys.

Coil pack changed. Misfire fixed.
