Footwart--I believe what happened to you was the lift kit changed the pinion angle the correct way and eliminated the shudder....
Here's what I have, its only in 2nd gear that the trans shudders, What's strange is when I get on the throttle and give it just a little more rev's it doesn't shudder...
I am thinking that either the pump supply's more pressure, which keeps it locked instead of slipping....or by giving it more throttle it slips more...
Its only in second gear going slow and accelerating slowly, does it do this...
