Post URL for horsepower/torque ratings

Anyone have a good url for Ford horsepower/torque ratings for truck motors? Hopefully something that will go back to '95 or earlier. Thanks!

Try http://carpoint.msn.com/search/default.asp

Its not a Ford site, but they do give HP ratings for engines.

I know of a site, had engine specs on earlier models, but I don't know if they correspond with EFI (85-newer)motors.

Pastmaster, seems that site isn't working. I couldn't pull it up. I also tried just http://wrljet.com but then got a "File Not Found" error.

Duke, sorry, sometimes it is down. You might try it later or even in the morning. It was on last week when I checked it. I think it was last week anyhow.

Are you looking for a range of years? Efi or carb? etc etc?

Man! I hope carpoint is WAY off. I found a '96 F-150XLT with the 5.0 (4.9) motor in it. Carpoint says 145 horsepower!?!? I can't believe that. That wouldn't be enough power to pull a greasy string out of a cat's @ss.

The 4.9L/300 c.i.d. had something like 160 or 165 HP, but everyone believes Carpoint because "it's on the internet."

I believe the 4.9l really does have 145hp stock.

That would be incorrect. The 4.9L/300 c.i.d. six cylinder had 165 HP and 260 lb. ft. torque. I KNOW, I'VE OWNED A FEW. That info comes from FORD, not that Carpoint CRAP.

I think your both a bit off. All brochures and manual say 150hp with a auto, and 160 with a manual. 260ft/lbs is right though.
