Here's my version of the fresh air hookup talked about in other threads. I used black 3"(inside dia) abs pipe. I forgot who first came up with this mod but thanks again for a great idea.

I've done the intake mod also; everything works very good. I'll have the stock look until I get a velocity tube

bodyside mouldings, Snugtop hard tonneau, K&N dropin and airbox mod.
Duraliner drop-in (gave up on the Penda Nascar). Gibson Supertruck. Ford 2-piece bra. Catch-All floor mats.
No door cracks yet at 6K!!!

Future mods: 2/4 lowering, and some Roush stuff.

If you find someone with a PVC bender they can bend a velosity tube for you for next to nothing. I decided to keep my original it looked better and I couldn't see an advantage. Stock velocity tube is same inner diamiter as your new intake tube.
