Question

54regcab,

Have you spoken with anyone on the site concerning this? Are they game to help organize a group by for this item? A lot of folks seem interested, but we need to find out if this will happen and if so, what kind of time frame and price are we looking at?

Question

Well guys and gals I called them today and asked them about a wholesale program on the tubes and I cannot get a good enough deal to help you guys out on the price of $89.95. The shipping charges for this item is $14.00 a piece. Your best bet is to purchase it directly from them and buy it for $89.95. I did order one to check out the quality and performance of it since I have heard good and bad reviews regarding the product, I will have mine up for sale after I am done with my testing of the tube.

Roger, are you anticipating it not working?
If it really works why would you sell it?
spyder207, I don't know what electronics store you are talking about.
$89.95 is a good buy, but $14.00 S&"H" is a rip.
Since WMS isn't offering a discount I might try the 71cent thing first.

54,

Remember, It's coming from Canada, so it's imported! That always cost more! LOL!

I still feel it was an excellent deal compared to the cost of the Airaid and K&N FIPK!

Cool

Hey "Velocity Tube" buyers,

Since no-one else could.........

I just got off the phone with Shannon and I also talked to him yesterday about this issue of the proposed "bulk buy".

Contrary to previous messages, he has done a bit of checking into this whole issue, including sending the parts over the border to one address and them having them shipped out from there. Putting 10 into a box and sending them to the US would be less expensive and would bring shipping charges down to about $8 per unit. But then redirecting them would be another $6-8 per unit, thus making the total shipping at least as much, if not more, than he is quoting.

My hat goes off to PaulT for realizing and understanding that the part is being shipped from north of the 49th. To say that anyone would try to make a profit on shipping is an insult. I have posted quite a bit on WMS and each time, I have stated that Mr. Shannon Wall and the staff of Western Motorsports are very reputable and honest. They are a small family type business and are out there to provide quality parts and service for a better than fair price. Trust me, I have a lot of friends in this town that can get truck parts for me. If I thought for a second that Shannon was ripping me off, I would not have mentioned his name, I would have never intoduced the "Velocity Tube" on this site back in November, I would not have mentioned his advice or any of his other products, and I especially would not have dropped $2500 of my own money on his counter.

Have said all that, Shannon has been very kind to allow members of this site or anyone else who reads these threads to purchase Velocity Tubes at a discount for a limited time. Effective immediately, Shannon has agreed to sell the Velocity Tube at a 10% discount (parts ONLY; not shipping) to anyone who mentions that they read about the "Tube" on www.f150online.com until the close of business on February 29th. After that, prices are back to normal. The tubes will be shipped after all of the orders are in and processed. So expect them do your doors the first few days in March. Then you can all experience what the Velocity Tube provides and what some of us already can. You can get more info on the tube at http://www.wmsracing.com/new.html

To order, you can either call, fax, or email Shannon. Go to his site at http://www.wmsracing.com/catalog.html to get the numbers or visit their home page at www.wmsracing.com for more info on other stuff.

Keep Truckin'!

Best Regards,

...Deis

Sorry, I didn't know it was coming from Canada.
You must admit though if it was coming from the US they would have had a little extra "handling" charge built in.
10% off till the 29th sounds great to me.

Thumbs down

If anyone in Massachusetts wants one they can have mine for free. It would have to be repainted, I ground all the weld overspray off.
I was very dissapointed with it, Maybee it works better with a 5.4 than my 4.6 V8.
