I am ordering a k&n from the store here but i was wondering it any one who has the tube what did you get in MPG increase?? How bad is the finish and what has to be modified to make it fit i have a 2000

Paradeis, I am replying to your message regarding the Velocity tube from WMS. After reading your message I would just like to clear up a few issue's regarding the tube.

As Owner of the Digital Marketplace Store I was asked to check into a group purchase for the WMS tube, so I did and I posted my results.

They also told me that the shipping would be less per tube if shipped to one location as you qouted $8.00 each,then the additional shipping charges would have to be added for the shipment to the various individuals who purchased them. It would still end up costing the same if not more as your qoute $6-$8 additional. Total shipping would be from $12.00-$14.00 each. I don't know who is making any additional profit here?

Here is my case in point on why it was not feasible for me to do this.

I would have to purchase them up front plus pay the shipping.The price below would include a 10% discount plus bulk shipping.

Velocity Tube $80.95 x 10 = 809.50
Shipping to the US $8.00 x 10 = 80.00
Total = 889.90

Sell them for the same price?
WMS Tube $80.95 x 10 = 809.50
Shipping (avg.) $8.00 x 10 = 80.00
Less 3% C.C. fee $2.67 x 10 = 26.70
Less fee for adv. $4.45 x 10 = 44.50
misc charges for $5.00 x 10 = 50.00
unpacking, repacking
billing, labeling,
transportation, etc. (and this is cheap)

TOTAL Cost for 10 tubes $1010.70
TOTAL Cost if bought indiviually $ 889.90
and shipped direct from WMS.

This is an intial loss to me of $-120.80
(if I were to do the group buy in)

Now, lets factor in the dissatisfied customer as stated above? I would be the one responsible for giving a refund to the customer plus having to ship it back to the manufacturer for a fix or replacement, and possibly a refund after shipping is paid by me? more lost revenue.....

In closing, would you or anyone else be interested in doing the group purchase and loose money? What is your time worth?
Deal with a product that has had some quality issue as mentioned by some customers? The best place to get an opinion on customer service and quality of products comes from the customers and not the manufacture.

PS. I order a WMS tube two weeks ago and have not received it, maybe you could check on my order??
