Question on New Gauge Installation
I just purchased a new set of Autometer Gauges (Water Temp and Oil Presure) and want to install them in my 2001 f-150 HD SC. I want my OEM gauges in the dash cluster to also keep working in conjunction with my new gauges. any suggestions?

HI!... JBONES : Are they electrical or mechanical guages? If they are electrical, then send them back and get mechanical. Mechanical guages are WAY more accurate, and they can still be accurate when the vehicle is off. The water temp sensor can be installed in the out going heater hose. The oil preasure sensor should be installed in the same location as the stock electrical sensor's location. You must use a "T" so you can run both guages at the same time or you will get check engine light. The stock oil preasure sender is located behind the oil filter between the engine and oil filter adapter.
