Post Tug-Of-War With a F-350

Who ever said an F350 has more power than an F150. Well this event unfolded one night at my ranch, after a few hours of beer drinking, and my brother-in-law talking smack about my "little" F150. It was about 3:00am when I finally said "All right bi*ch lets have a tug-of-war". So we hooked them up hitch to hitch with a toe strap, put them in 4 low and let'em rip. After 30 seconds we stoped, and checked out the results. His "Big" F350 4x4 power stroke diesel did not budge my "little" F150 5.4 V8 4x4. I had buried my front tires about 10 inches. The only bad thing that came out of this was that I twisted my front drive shaft in half. What can I say, That's the price you pay for making a big truck look small.

i dont mean to put your truck down in any way, but those powerstrokes have a LOT of torque. im guessing that you guys just buried each other in the mud. if you do it on concrete, he might probably win the tug of war. either way, congrats on holding your own!

ahh drunken contests. My friends when they went out drinking used to have contests to see who had to drive home. They figured they were all drunk, so one of them would risk a ticket/accident... the contest could be anything from a test of physical strenghth (i.e. who could lift up the rear end of the car) or who could throw a construction cone the farthest, or who could spin around a stop sign for the longest time without getting dizzy.
Kids, don't drink and drive!

I've also been involved in many drunk olympics. I'm raining puddle jumping champion 3 competitions in a row. Plus dont forget I can do 10 chocalate bars the quickest out of any booze hound.

LOL Drunk olympics what a great name for it! One time we were really drunk and the contest was to see who could throw a cone in the air the highest. I don't think I ever laughed so hard as when my brother tossed his up in the air, feeling confident in himself crossed his arms as if to say "look at what I did!" and then WHAM the cone came right down on his head and knocked him on the ground. LOL I'm bustin up just thinking about it . He was allright just felt stupid, and rightfully so .

Cool

LowRiderHD2000

You just think you're the puddle jumpin' champ. You haven't been drunk here yet.
With 8-10 beers in me,I can not only make my own puddle , I can also jump it with the greatest of ease!
Done it time and time again. Won lots of trophies and ribbons at the county fair. Honest.

I contribute my winning to my Pro-Comp MT's. He had stock tires, but if he had MT's he would have a better chance.

I think ford wanted $300.00l, but I have a friend that got me the tube for $100. He cut the ends off the old one and welded then onto the ne one. It is a thicker shaft, it all came out to around $160.00.

In your first post it was your friends in the drunken olympics but in your second it seems maybe you were involved. Gave yourself away.

You can be proud that you stayed up with the PSD, because everything equal and traction for sure...He should pull you around in circles...His is a 7000 lb truck with over 500 ft lbs torque...
Physics 101 says this as well...

LOL ok you caught me, occasionally I participate. Usually I"m the designated driver anyway, I just like to watch them having their olympics . I lost 6 friends in high school due to drunk driving so I don't tolerate it too much, but would admit that it has happened on occasion before...
Remember... designated drivers, the designated geek at the party... LOL
