Talking

I think it's any plane that the President of the U.S. fly's in.

Really, it's just another brand of air intake systems. Quite a number of members seems to have them.

AF1...

N1mxer --

I read the same stuff you did. F150world.com had a nice article about the AF1 install too. The AF1 seems to give a couple more HP than the others plus the chrome intake looks really sharp.

I was talking to Mike Troyer, The superchip guru, and mentioned that I was interested in the Airforce 1. He highly recommended it and made me a great package deal on a chip and an AF1.

I couldn't resist so I ordered both. They should get here today or Monday (I hope).

I looked hard at the AF1, but bought the Airaid....I have had the Airaid before and found it to be a quality system....not that AF1 is not, I just had a positive experience with Airaid

I also had the K&N system a few years ago....junk in my opinion

It fit poorly, was made cheap, and rubbed thru the wiring harness and caused false anti-lock brake lights....

When I contacted K&N to complain, they said I had installed it incorrectly....so I took it off and put on an AIRAID...no more problems.....

I too have had a positve experience with Airaid.
I had some low pitched whistling at idle and they provided a fix (adapter) right away.
