Good or bad idea splitting off to true dual exhaust
#16
Here's my story.
I'm on my 6th. setup on my 2001 alone, and by far, my "best" setup, finally achived last week, is this:
The driver's side pipe narrows to 2 1/4" before it hit a 1 1/2" jagged cut hole in the pass. side pipe, at about a 65 degree angle. (Pics. can be found in the Exhaust forum.) I've replaced the stock "Y" with a Flowmaster "Y Pipe", dual 2 1/2" in, single 3" out. From here I've run a single 2 1/2" straight pipe about 4' long and turned it down just before the axle with a 3 1/2" x 10" stainless Gibson tip. I'm sure I'll try something else once I get bored.
