Tranny's 4r70(reg f150)
Hiya,
I just wanna say that the 4r70w thats in the 96up Mustang and in the reg. f150's is about as good a transmission as you need. If you listen to the crap that Lentech or MM&FF will tell you. Then you are messing up already, they tell you the things they need to tell you so you will buy everything in there mag. Lentech will tell you what you need to hear to buy one of his AOD's which other than his valvebody work are essentially upgraded to AODE or 4R70W in hardware. I am not talking about his 3rd/reverse all out racing tranny. I know this because my 95 GT has a 13lb turbo on it, head/intake work, 81,500 miles and the tranny is completely stock w/ a Transgo shift kit. I mean the converter/tranny have 81,500 miles on it and it runs 12.40's in the quarter at 119. I've never had a minutes problem out of this tranny, so take this paragraph to MM&FF and Lentech and see if they dont laugh at you then and laugh at you when they take your 5-10k to the bank and you just bought a bunch of **** you didnt need. Nuff said.
