Post Replacing Thermostat 4.6

Truck ('97 w/4.6)is not warming up nearly as much as it used to, so am going to start by replacing the thermostat with a new 195 degree one. Anybody replaced one lately, and was it much of a hassle??

Factory manual for 2000 shows nothing in the way. Remove hose, remove two bolts, remove t-stat housing.

I put a JET 180 degree thermostat in my 98 NASCAR Edition with the 4.6. No problem. I syphoned off the antifreeze using a $1.50
hand squeeze pump. Be sure to replace the "O" ring (my 98 didn't use a gasket).
The whole process didn't take 30 minutes.
